I installed MS XP HOME in my PC, but the updates are not installing. Newly installed windows xp home updates are not installing. What has improved the situation, in what I now get an error message a few minutes after installing XP said "Starting Windows" instead of immediately after. I changed the BIOS disk in "Compatibility" mode (what is the same thing as "Legacy IDE"?) by following the instructions on a Yahoo Answers question on the same issue. I try to install Windows XP Home Edition on a Toshiba Satellite C660-108, without success. Satellite C660-108 - Windows XP Home Edition does not install
